Got back from vacation this week. Things really sort of came to a head in my work & personal life about 3 weeks ago, and since then I've not been able to spend much time on sites like dA, tegaki, twitter, wordpress, etc., etc., because I'm really really really trying to focus and succeed at my job, and get my life into some order & structure.

I'm not sure if or how permanent this semi-absence from the intertubes may end up being. I've been dealing with ADD issues my whole life, yet it seems only the past several years that it's gotten particularly difficult for me to deal with both my personal mental troubles and also the transition to what is known to most people as "adulthood," (although in my case that label may not be so apt, yes?)

If I can manage to find and maintain some kind of structure for my life that also allows me to do well at my job, take care of all my personal needs and tasks, and still have enough free time to enjoy both the internet sites with all the cool peeps I love and also working on my own personal creative projects outside the internet, maybe I'll start showing up more. That's not a promise, but I'd like to think it's a possibility. Right now, though, it's about working really hard on other things.
